The Genuine American Cookie and Muffin

The book is GREAT and the story about why we call a  biscuit a cookie and a fairy cake a muffin is a real laugh!
What is a fairy  cake?

I received The Genuine American Cookie & Muffin  Book as a birthday present from my 17 year old  twin sons and to my suprise it  was signed!
The book has come in handy many times, especially  on family get togethers, the chocolate muffins being a low budget hit amongst  many.

The chocolate chip cookies are absolutely fantastic! The recipes are easy to follow and the cookies are as good if not  better than the ones we had in the states!

Firstly, can I say, what a fantastic book.
Everything I tried was so easy and delicious.
Secondly, Could you please pass this on to Peter.
Peter,
The book is great, can't wait for the next one. Please can we have more traybakes next time, as I have worn these recipes out, they are  so scrumptious.
Very Best Wishes,

Peter is originally from San Francisco, California. He moved to England in 1992 and settled in Yorkshire. When asked why he moved to England, he replied “for the long hot summers!” Obviously this man has a sense of humour which is what his book is about - having fun in the kitchen!
